Qualifications with Matriculation /NAC / NTC issued by NCVT in AOCP Trade are eligible for this post. This recruitment fills a total of 126 vacancies. Cordite Factory Aruvankadu: Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu, is located in the hilly region of Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu was established in the year 1904. CFA is the pioneer in manufacturing quality propellants for different types of ammunition, including 105mm, 120mm, 130mm, and 155mm, and Propellants for naval ammunition and small arms. The latest addition of Triple Base propellant Bi modular Charges for 155mm Ammunition is a great achievement of CFA.

Educational Qualifications:
Matriculation + NAC / NTC issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) in AOCP Trade. Possessing Ordnance Factory training or experience in manufacturing and handling military explosives and ammunition.
Note: Candidates possessing a National Apprenticeship Certificate or National Trade Certificate issued by the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades – NCTVT (now named NCVT – National Council for Vocational Training) in the AOCP trade will only be accepted as the qualification.
Duration: 1 Years
Age Limit(as on 01 October 2023): 18 – 35 Years

Selection Process:
Selection will be based on the Marks scored in the NCTVT and Trade Test/ Practical test only. The factory will decide the cut-off percentage for calling candidates for the Trade test based on the total Marks secured in NCTVT. The weightage of Marks in the NCTVT Exam and Trade test/Practical test will be 80% and 20%, respectively.
