Detailed Eligibility Criteria:

1. Engineers: Candidates must have completed a 4-year full-time regular engineering course in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

2. Senior Officer: Candidates applying for City Gas Distribution (CGD) Operations & Maintenance should have a 4-year full-time regular engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Civil Engineering. For LNG Business, candidates should have a 4-year full-time regular engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.

3. Assistant Manager: Candidates applying for the positions of Senior Officer/Assistant Manager in Biofuel Plant Operations, CBG Plant Operations, and Senior Office – Sales (Retail/Lubes/Direct Sales/LPG) must possess a full-time MBA or PGDM with specialization in Sales/Marketing/Operations. In addition, they should have completed a 4-year full-time regular engineering course in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.

4. Fire & Safety Officer: Candidates must hold a full-time regular B.E/B.Tech in Fire Engineering or Fire & Safety Engineering. It is desirable to have a full-time diploma or certificate in Industrial Safety or an equivalent qualification.

5. Quality Control (QC) Officers: Candidates should have completed a 2-year full-time regular M.Sc. in Chemistry (Analytical/Physical/Organic/Inorganic).

6. Chartered Accountants: Candidates must be qualified Chartered Accountants (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

7.Law Officers: Candidates should have completed a 3-year full-time course in law after graduation or a 5-year course in law after the 12th standard.

8. Medical Officer: Candidates must have completed a full-time MBBS course as per IMC Act -1956 from a recognized Govt. Medical College. They should also possess a three-month certificate course viz. AFIH (Associate Fellowship in Industrial Health) or DIH (Diploma in Industrial Health) or an equivalent qualification.

9. General Manager (O/o Company Secretary): Candidates should hold an associate/fellow membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) along with graduation in any discipline.

10. Welfare Officer – Mumbai Refinery: Candidates should have a degree in Social Science recognized by the State Government of Maharashtra or graduation in any discipline along with a diploma in Social Science recognized by the State Government of Maharashtra.

11.Information Systems (IS) Officers: Candidates should have completed a 4-year full-time regular engineering course in B.Tech with Computer Science/IT Engineering or post-graduation in Computer Applications (MCA)/ Data Sciences.

Selection Process:

HPCL Recruitment 2023 The selection process for HPCL recruitment 2023 comprises various shortlisting and selection tools, including a Computer Based Test, Group Task, Personal Interview, and Moot court (only for Law Officers and Law Officers- HR).
