IBPS SO 2023 Recruitment is open to candidates with any degree qualification. The total number of vacancies available is 1402, providing ample opportunities for freshers to join the banking sector. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for IBPS SO 2023 Recruitment, candidates must have a degree (graduation) in any discipline from a government-recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the central government. It is mandatory for candidates to possess a valid mark sheet or degree certificate indicating their graduation marks while registering online.
Age Limit
The minimum age requirement for IBPS PO 2023 Recruitment is 20 years, while the maximum age limit is 30 years as of 1st August 2023. However, certain categories are eligible for age relaxation:
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons With Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 05 years
- Persons affected by 1984 riots: 05 years

Preliminary Examination

IBPS SO 2023 Recruitment IBPS SO Preliminary exam 2023 is from for 30th and 31st of December 2023. There is a penalty for wrong answers, with one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question deducted as a penalty for each wrong answer.

Interview & Identity Verification
IBPS SO 2023 Recruitment Candidates who have been shortlisted in the online main examination will be called for an interview conducted by the participating banks. The interview carries a weightage of 100 marks, and the minimum qualifying marks are 40% (35% for reserved category candidates). The combined final score is calculated based on the scores obtained in the online main examination and the interview.
Application Process
To apply for IBPS PO 2023 Recruitment, interested candidates must submit their applications online on or before the deadline of 28st August 2023. The application fee is Rs. 175 for SC/ST/PWD candidates and Rs. 850 for all others.
After completing the online application process, candidates should print out the system-generated application form and retain it along with the registration number and password for future reference.
