JPSC Recruitment 2023 for Civil Judge
JPSC Recruitment 2023 Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is inviting online applications from LLB graduates for the post of Civil Judge. There are a total of 138 vacancies available. Detailed Eligibility Criteria
JPSC Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a graduate degree in Law from a recognized University and must be enrolled as an advocate under The Advocates Act, 1961 till the last date of submission of the application form. Additionally, the candidate should possess sound health, good moral character, and must not be involved in any criminal case involving moral turpitude.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 22 to 35 years as on 31 January 2023. Female/SC/ST candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 03 years, while disabled candidates will be given category-wise age relaxation of 10 years.
Selection Process
The selection process for JPSC Recruitment 2023 for the Civil Judge post consists of the following stages:
- Preliminary Entrance Test: If the number of candidates is large, a Preliminary Entrance Test (PT) may be conducted to limit the candidates for the Main Examination. The PT will be a written examination consisting of multiple-choice questions.
- Main Examination: Candidates who pass the PT will be eligible for the Main Examination. The Main Examination will be a written examination with subjective-type questions.
- Viva Voce Test: Candidates who clear the Main Examination will be eligible for the Viva Voce Test, which will be an oral examination.
The final selection list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Main Examination and the Viva Voce Test.

General/EWS/OBC category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 600/-, while SC/ST/PWBD/Women candidates need to pay Rs. 150/-. The application fee can be paid online.
