ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra is an agricultural extension center in India. Job Roles and Qualifications:
– Programme Assistant/Driver:
– Qualification: B.Sc/M.Sc/Ph.D./10th
– Salary: Rs 21,700 – 1,31,400/-

Detailed Eligibility:
Senior Scientist and Head:
– Qualification: Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic science with 8 years of experience in the relevant subjects as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-3 of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/Rs.6000/Rs.7000/Rs.8000. The candidate should have made a significant contribution to research/teaching/extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations and impact.
– Age Limit: 47 years
Subject Matter Specialist (Agronomy):
– Qualification: Master’s Degree in Agronomy or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
– Age Limit: 35 years
Programme Assistant (Lab Technician):
– Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture
– Age Limit: 30 years
Driver for Tractor:
– Qualification: Matriculation pass from a recognized Board
– Possession of a valid and appropriate Driving License from a prescribed Government Authority (the Candidate will have to pass the practical skill test to be taken by an appropriate Committee)
– Age Limit: 30 years
Selection Process:
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be called for a written examination/interview. In case the number of applications is large, the selection committee may limit the number of candidates based on qualifications and experience.
Application Fee:
Candidates are required to submit a Demand Draft from a Nationalised Bank for Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) as processing fees. The DD should be drawn in favor of “Agricultural Science Foundation, Hulkoti” and payable at Gadag City. However, SC/ST and Women candidates are exempted from paying the processing fees.
