About NBAIR
The National Bureau of Agricultural Insect Resources (NBAIR), formerly known as the National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Insects (NBAII), is located in Bangalore, Hebbal. It shares the same premises as The Commonwealth Institute of Biological Control (CIBC), Indian Station, which was established in 1957. The CIBC played a vital role in conducting organized research on biological control in India, leading to a better understanding of natural enemies of crop pests and weeds. In 1987, the CIBC Indian Station was closed and the All India Coordinated Research Project on Biological Control of Crop Pests and Weeds (AICRP-BC&W) was shifted to the same campus in 1988.

Project: Development and Validation of Bioinensive Integrated Pest Management strategies for Coconut Invasive ‘Whiteflies in Karnataka’.
Project Assistant:
- Essential: B.Sc in Agricultural/ Horticultural Sciences with experience in microbial cultures.
- Desirable: M.Sc in Plant Pathology/Microbiology.
Age Limit: 35-40 Years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates is applicable as per the Govt. of India/ICAR Rules.
