Associate Software Engineer:
To be eligible for the role of Associate Software Engineer at Protegrity, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- B.E/M.E/MCA or related degree.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environment.
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.
- Proficiency in writing scripts or test automation using Python/Shell Scripting.
- Basic understanding of Linux Kernel.
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Knowledge of Data Protection, Privacy, and Security is preferred.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting on Linux platforms is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Perf and Memory leak/check tools is preferred.
- Understanding of SCRUM methodologies is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing automated tools or frameworks for highly optimized and effective test coverage.
- Collaborating with leads, senior engineers, and Product Owner to design and develop test plans based on functional/design specifications.
- Ensuring test coverage is met and customer scenarios are factored into testing.
- Proactively planning for automation maintenance efforts and understanding the impact of changes on automation.
- Assisting in the rollout of software releases and providing support on the CI/CD and build patch automation.
- Owning the quality of product areas and delivering related solutions to customers.
- Becoming a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team.
- Considering the impact of design decisions on customer upgrade paths and bringing that knowledge into design discussions.
- Handling aggressive schedules and changing requirements.
- Supporting customer requests, debugging, and analyzing customer issues, and providing root cause analysis.
