Software Intern:
Educational Qualifications: University degree in Electrical/Computers/Materials/Physics/Mechanics Engineering
Key Qualification:
- Good programming skills in at least one of the languages TCL, Python, Perl, bash
- Background knowledge of circuit theory
- Familiarity with physical verification flows like LVS/DRC
- Experience with UNIX/Linux environment
- Capability to produce adequate technical documentation
- Exceptional desire to learn, explore new technologies and demonstrate good investigation and problem-solving skills
- Good English communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, troubleshoot or debug IC physical verification tools, runsets and flows for the development of integrated circuits.
- Providing help for Design Rule Check (DRC), Layout Versus Schematic (LVS), FILL runsets related issues for advanced processes.
- Should be able to read complex layout rules and layout structures.
- Creation and execution of QA test cases and regression suites including both schematic and layout entry.
- Help global layout design team by debugging flow, tool, runset and layout issues.
- Develop routines and utility programs to aid in verification of layout design.
- Build productive working relationships with cross functional teams.

Educational Qualifications: The candidates should possess a B.E/B.Tech
Requirements:
- At-least 1 years of experience in Physical Implementation RTL-GDS. Experience in independently debugging and resolving synth & PnR implementation challenges.
- Proficiency in Synopsys implementation tools is an advantage.
- The individual must be self-motivated and dedicated with strong debug skills.
- Requires proficiency in scripting (tcl / unix / perl).
- Excellent communication skills including ability to interface with customers and business unit personnel are essential.
Responsibilities:
- As Applications Engineer I, you will be.
- Supporting Fusion Compiler for Synopsys customers
- Providing technical solutions by identifying the design and/or EDA tool issues and provide appropriate solution for customers.
- Effectively translate the findings into requirements for R&D to improve both tool behaviors with enhancements as adaptive long-term solutions.
- Involved in deployment of new technologies on latest EDA versions and enable customers to migrate to newer versions achieving best PPA
- Coming up with proactive understanding of customers pain point and come up with innovative solutions to address the same.
- Closely interacting with Synopsys R&D team and product development team to develop future technologies.
- This role requires you to act as customers advocate while talking to inhouse R&D and be a product brand ambassador while engaging with customers.
